These terms apply to this website and the general information, research, tools, assessments, and services presented under the name The Panama Explorer.

The services are currently provided by Ramón Aranha-Gericke, using The Panama Explorer as a business name. The Panama Explorer is not currently a separate legal entity.

This page provides a clear, current statement of our general terms and professional boundaries. It may be updated as the business, services, and applicable requirements develop.

Specific paid services may also be governed by checkout terms, a written proposal, scope of work, client agreement, invoice, or other service-specific terms. If those terms conflict with this page, the service-specific written terms will govern the relevant engagement.

Strategy and coordination—not regulated advice

The Panama Explorer provides independent research, decision support, strategic planning, validation support, and client-side implementation coordination.

Neither Ramón Aranha-Gericke nor The Panama Explorer acts through these services as a:

Professional network and introductions

The Panama Explorer may help identify, coordinate, or introduce independent lawyers, accountants, tax professionals, banks, brokers, insurers, healthcare providers, inspectors, valuers, property managers, and other specialists.

These professionals and institutions are independent. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Ramón Aranha-Gericke or The Panama Explorer.

You remain free to select your own professionals and are not required to use anyone introduced by The Panama Explorer.

Any engagement with an independent professional or institution is subject to that provider’s:

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, you contract with and pay independent professionals directly. The Panama Explorer does not control or guarantee their advice, performance, availability, decisions, or outcomes.

Where included within the agreed scope, The Panama Explorer may coordinate independent professionals and third-party services on the client’s behalf. Each provider remains independently responsible for its advice, decisions, services, fees, and professional obligations.

Independence and commercial relationships

The Panama Explorer is independent and client-paid. It does not sell financial products or property and does not rely on undisclosed commissions or referral arrangements.

If a referral fee, commission or other commercial benefit is available in connection with an introduction or transaction, it will be disclosed clearly to the affected client in advance. Where permitted, feasible and practical, The Panama Explorer aims to pass or credit that benefit to the client.

Any such arrangement must not influence The Panama Explorer’s recommendations. Independent professionals and service providers are engaged with the client’s approval and remain responsible for their own advice, services and fees.

No guarantee of outcomes

The Panama Explorer does not guarantee:

A paid engagement begins only when the applicable service has been accepted and any required payment or written engagement conditions have been completed.

Where a service is purchased or accepted electronically, the client’s completion of the applicable checkout, payment, or written acceptance process constitutes acceptance of the service-specific terms presented at that time.

Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, website content, reports, frameworks, assessment materials, tools, graphics, and written work are owned by or licensed for use by Ramón Aranha-Gericke under The Panama Explorer name.

Materials provided to a client are for that client’s personal or internal decision-making use. They may be shared with the client’s professional advisers where reasonably necessary for the relevant engagement.

Materials may not be publicly reproduced, republished, modified, resold, licensed, commercially distributed, or presented as another person’s work without prior written permission.

External websites and services

The website may link to independent websites, institutions, professionals, payment providers, scheduling systems, or other services.

Additional provisions concerning liability, cancellation, termination, dispute resolution, governing law, and jurisdiction may apply to paid engagements and will be stated in the applicable proposal, scope of work, checkout terms, or client agreement.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in services, operating arrangements, professional relationships, or applicable requirements. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.

If a separate legal entity is established and becomes the provider of The Panama Explorer’s services, these terms will be updated to identify that entity. Existing clients will be notified where their agreement or rights are materially affected.
